  • Complete Prenatal, Doctor Recommended Ingredients: Total Prenatal + DHA delivers 100% Daily Value of 14 OBGYN-recommended nutrients, formulated specifically for pregnant and lactating women. Key ingredients include active methylated folate (5-MTHF) - the bioavailable form preferred over synthetic folic acid, especially for women with MTHFR gene variants - plus choline, 27 mg of non-constipating iron, vitamin D, zinc, methylated B12, B6, biotin, calcium, magnesium, iodine, and vegan omega-3 DHA, supporting fetal development, energy, and immune health.* One daily prenatal covers preconception through breastfeeding — no separate DHA or folate supplement needed.
  • Vegan DHA, No Fishy Burps: Our Total Prenatal includes 200 mg vegan DHA from algae - no separate supplement needed, unlike fish-oil softgel prenatals that can leave a lingering fishy aftertaste. DHA supports your baby's brain and eye development, especially in the second and third trimesters. Active methylated folate helps support neural tube development, choline supports cognitive function and cell development, and iron supports healthy blood and oxygen flow. Together, these nutrients support a healthy pregnancy from day one. 1 month supply (30 servings, 2 capsules daily). Start taking at least 3 months before conception, or as soon as you get a positive pregnancy test.*

⭐How to read a prenatal label

What to look for in a prenatal - and what to skip.

The shelf is full of prenatals that look similar on the front and fall apart on the back. These are the six things OBGYNs quietly tell their own families to check for. Pink Stork hits every one.

Folate - the form matters more than the dose

About 40% of women have an MTHFR gene variation that limits the body's ability to convert synthetic folic acid into usable Folate. The active, methylated form bypasses that bottleneck and is the form most OBGYNs prefer for neural-tube development in the first trimester.
                    Look for:L-5-MTHF · 600 mcg DFE Skip:Folie acid

Iron your stomach can actually handle

Iron is non-negotiable in pregnancy - low Iron is linked to fatigue, low birth weight, and preterm delivery. But standard Iron sulfate is infamously rough: constipation, nausea, metallic taste. Chelated (amino-acid-bound) Iron is clinically better absorbed and far gentler.

                    Look for:Ferrous Bisglycinate · 27 mg Skip:Ferrous sulfate

Choline - the nutrient 90% of prenatals skip

Choline is critical for fetal brain and spinal-cord development and placental function. The American Medical Association, the ACOG, and major pediatric groups all recommend pregnant women get more of it - yet most prenatals contain little or none because it's bulky and expensive to formulate.

Look foLook forVitaCholine® / Choline bitartrate Skip:None listed

                    DHA from algae, not fish

DHA supports fetal brain and eye development. Algae-sourced DHA delivers the same Omega-3 your body needs, without mercury, PCBs, or the sustainability issues of fish oil - and without the fishy aftertaste most pregnant women can't tolerate.

                    Look for:Algae DHA · 200 mg Skip:Fish oil/unknown source

                    Active B-vitamins (especially B12 and B6)

Like Folate, B12 and B6 come in synthetic and bioactive forms. Methylcobalamin is the active B12; P5P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) is the active B6 - and both are particularly helpful for women with common MTHFR or MTRR variations. Active B6 is also the form most studied for morning-sickness support.

                    Look for:Methylcobalamin + P5P Skip:Cyanocobalamin · Pyridoxine HCl

Clean label - no hidden junk

Proprietary blends hide sub-real ingredient amounts. Synthetic dyes, unnecessary fillers, and allergens like gluten, dairy, soy, and fish don't belong in a daily prenatal. A transparent label means you can see every ingredient and dose, exactly.

                    Look for:Full doses · in bioavailable forms · allergen-free Skip:Proprietary blends · dyes · fillers

                    Third-party tested and independently certified

Supplements are self-regulated in the US. Independent, third-party testing - ideally on every batch - is the only reliable way to verify potency, label accuracy, and heavy-metal levels within recognized safety thresholds and microbes. Clean Label Project Purity Award certification goes further: it tests for 130+ contaminants.

Look for:Every batch · Clean Label Project Purity certified Skip:No testing disclosed

                    Backed by published nutritional research.†

Below is what published nutritional research says about the ingredients in this formula.

Folate (as L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate) supports neural tube development + may reduce risk of neural tube defects†

A randomized controlled trial found that 400–800 mcg of folic acid or methylfolate daily periconceptionally reduced neural tube defect risk by up to 72%. The active form (5-MTHF) bypasses MTHFR polymorphisms, improving bioavailability in up to 40% of women with reduced folate metabolism.†

Iron (as Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate/Ferrochel) supports healthy red blood cell production + reduces risk of iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy†

A double-blind RCT published in the Journal of Nutritional Science found ferrous bisglycinate chelate significantly increased hemoglobin + serum ferritin levels in pregnant women with fewer GI side effects vs. ferrous sulfate. The 27 mg dose aligns with the RDA for pregnant women.†

DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid from Algae) supports fetal brain + eye development†

A Cochrane systematic review of 70 RCTs found omega-3 DHA supplementation (200–400 mg/day) during pregnancy significantly supports fetal neurodevelopment. The algal-derived source provides equivalent bioavailability to fish-derived DHA without mercury exposure risk.†

Choline (as VitaCholine) supports fetal brain development + healthy placental function†

Research from Cornell University published in FASEB Journal found that choline intake of 480–930 mg/day during the third trimester significantly improved infant cognitive function at 4 + 7 years. Higher choline status was also associated with improved placental function + reduced neural tube defect risk.†

Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin) supports healthy nervous system development + works synergistically with folate to support DNA synthesis†

A prospective cohort study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that maternal B12 deficiency was independently associated with increased neural tube defect risk (OR 2.97) + preterm birth. Methylcobalamin is the bioactive form with superior CNS bioavailability vs. cyanocobalamin.†

What we believe, and what we won't compromise on.

Why Pink Stork? We've spent a decade saying no to the shortcuts the rest of the supplement industry says yes to. Here's the standard we hold ourselves to, in plain English.

                      Bioavailable forms, every single time.

Methylfolate over folic acid. Chelated Iron over ferrous sulfate. Methylcobalamin over cyanocobalamin. We pay more so your body can actually use what's on the label.

Real ingredients. Real names. Real forms.

Every ingredient is named on the panel, in its bioavailable form. No anonymous 'special blends' designed to hide what's actually in the bottle.

                      Third-party tested every batch.

Independent labs verify potency, label accuracy, heavy metals, and microbes, every lot, before it ships.

                      Expert-Panel Reviewed, doctor-reviewed.

Built and reviewed by our six-person, OBGYN-led medical advisory council. Real doctors with real practices and real patients, not paid spokespeople.

                      Independent and woman-owned.

Still independent. Not owned by Unilever or Nestlé. Not for sale. Accountable to the women who take our products, not to investors waiting on an exit.

Built on faith, family, and a better standard for moms.

Founded a decade ago by Amy, a mom who couldn't find supplements she trusted, and built them. She still owns Pink Stork. She still runs it. And she still takes them every single day.

                      ⭐From Amy, Founder + CEO

Pink Stork started because I couldn't find a supplement I trusted for my own pregnancy. Every formula since has been built with our OBGYN-led medical council, third-party tested, and made with the bioavailable forms, Methylated Folate, Chelated Iron, Algae DHA, my own kids deserve. We're still independent, still woman-owned, and still run by me. I take this every day.
